For this project, I chose an existing conference to draw material from. However, I changed the name to Connections to go with the new concept.
The concept of this conference was inspired by an illustration from cartoonist Hugh Macleod showing the difference between knowledge and experience and how intelligent/creative people are so because they have more experience than others (hence, activating more connections inside their brains.)
Therefore, this conference invites designers not to provide new knowledge, but to enhance their skills in order to increase there creativity and problem-solving.
